The following optional pre-conference tours are available for delegates and partners via our agency:



All take place on Tuesday 30 July departing and finishing at the EICC (conference venue)

Tour 1 - Stirling Castle Visit | 14:30 – 17:30 | Coach tour

Experience the magnificent views from the medieval fortress that is Stirling Castle. This jewel in the crown of Scottish history towers over the site of Stirling Bridge, where William Wallace triumphed over English forces, and the site of Bannockburn, where Robert the Bruce defeated the English again in 1314. Explore the castle's chambers and courtyards, where Scottish history was made.

Tour 2 - Lowlands Distillery visit | 14.00 – 17:30 | Coach tour

Glenkinchie is known as 'The Edinburgh Malt', as it is the closest distillery to Edinburgh. Nestled in East Lothian, it draws its waters from the Lammermuir Hills. Enjoy a private distillery tour with an expert guide, who will walk you through the art of whisky production. Finish your tour with tastings of this exceptional malt.

Tour 3 - Artisan Walking tour of the Royal Mile | 14.00 - 17.00 | Walking tour

Experience the Royal Mile and some of its unique artisans in this fun-filled afternoon. Split into smaller groups to experience traditional businesses:

Visit to a bagpipe-maker’s workshop (try to play it yourself!), A whisky tasting , Sample a Scottish fried delicacy. Finally, explore a hidden larder of Scottish produce, and sample some fine Scottish fare.
