The Rick Bell Memorial Travel Scholarship
This Rick Bell Memorial Scholarship is in memory of Dr. Rick Bell who co-chaired the 2003 Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium in Boston, USA. Rick’s research in industry, academia and government exemplified an interdisciplinary approach to conducting innovative sensory and consumer research. Rick combined his love of sensory and consumer science with a love for music and the arts. He was a gifted performer and loved working with people. Both his long-term colleagues and short-term acquaintances considered Rick a dear friend.
This scholarship is for a maximum of US$3000 and will be awarded to one graduate student for travel and attendance to the 2019 Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium in Edinburgh, Scotland. To receive the award, the student must submit and have accepted an oral or poster contribution to the Pangborn programme.
