John Castura

John developed a taste for sensory evaluation as a trained Scotch whisky panelist on a descriptive sensory panel. Research interests now include sensory methods and data analysis. He is a member of the editorial board of Food Quality and Preference. He also serves as chair of the Sensometric Society and as chair of the Sensory Claim Substantiation working group of ASTM Committee E18 on Sensory Evaluation.
