Hye-Seong Lee, Ewha Womans University, Korea
Prof. Hye-Seong Lee, is a Professor of Sensory & Consumer Science in the Department of Food Science and Engineering, Ewha Womans University. Her main research domain is the applied psychophysics to the consumer experience of food and personal products. She has completed her Ph D at the University of California, Davis, under the supervision of Prof. Michael O'Mahony and studied a post-doctoral research project with Unilever R&D Vlaardingen, focusing on development of consumer measurements based on Signal Detection Theory. Since appointed at Ewha in 2008, she has been working for development of sensory and hedonic discrimination methodologies. Author of over 60 scientific publications (SCI Journals); she is on editorial board member in Food Research International and Food Science and Biotechnology.
