Simone Sheehan is the Senior R&D Global Director for Consumer Science and Nutrition at pladis, working on globally love brands; McVities, Godiva, Ulker, Go Ahead and Jacobs. Simone has over 23 years global FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) experience across numerous sectors; beauty, personal care, grooming, pet care and food/snacking, spanning front end innovation, concept creation, product design and development through to launch. Simone is adept at translating and applying technical and scientific learning into winning products and experiences that improve and enhance the lives of the world’s consumers. She operates effectively at the interface between the academic world and the consumer and has a proven track record of delivering high value to business, building technical, sensory and consumer capability and to growing and developing people. During her 20 years at Procter and Gamble, Simone and her team delivered numerous consumer product propositions that ‘changed the game’; cumulatively delivering over $0.5 Billion in revenue across Olay, Secret and Gillette.
Most recently Simone joined pladis and has transformed the Consumer Science and Nutrition department, building critical consumer, sensory and nutrition capability, driving external focus and creating a ‘learning’ culture to maximise business impact and create consumer winning propositions, at the right value, with appropriate nutrition, for consumer’s around the world.
