Conference chair

Mara Galmarini is a full-time professor at the Business School of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT), an independent researcher at CONICET, and Co-Director of the MicroMaster in Behavior and Business at UTDT. She holds a PhD in Food Science (Universidad de Buenos Aires, UBA) and a degree in Food Technology (Universidad Católica Argentina, UCA), with a career focused on sensory analysis and consumer behavior.

Her research specializes in dynamic sensory descriptive methods, crossmodal studies, and the development of qualitative, consumer-oriented tools. She also works as a consultant for the private sector and as a science communicator in print and audiovisual media. In addition to numerous scientific publications and contributions to and editing of methodological books, she recently published the popular science book Para comerte mejor, published by Siglo XXI.
