Food Quality and Preference Awards

The following awards will be made for Pangborn 2023 sponsored by Elsevier.

Contributions by an established researcher
Awarded to a researcher who has made major contributions to our understanding of sensory or consumer science, whether in terms of basic processes, methodologies or applications of knowledge or methods, over a prolonged period.

Contributions by a researcher of the future

Awarded to a researcher who received their doctoral degree 10 or fewer years prior to the year of the granting of the award, for contributions to sensory or consumer science, whether in terms of basic processes, methodologies or applications of knowledge or methods.

The successful nominee for each award will receive a cash award of $1500, a certificate of award, and a one-year electronic subscription to Food Quality and Preference the supporting publication of the Pangborn Symposium.

Please forward nominations for these awards to John Prescott  no later than 15 June 2023. The nomination letter should include a brief description of the career of the nominee, including key publications and other information relevant to the terms of the award.
