Wender Bredie, University of Copenhagen, Denmark
Professor Wender Bredie is group leader of Sensory Science and Consumer Behaviour at the Department of Food Science, University of Copenhagen (UCPH-FOOD). His research is on physical and chemical properties of foods in relation to perception, preferences and palatability. His interest in these relations reaches across age groups, cultures/contexts and people with special nutritional needs. He is engaged in sensory science learning programmes (BSc, MSc and PhD) and acts as scientific advisor and collaboration partner in numerous projects and organisations. He is founder (2018) of Future Consumer Lab https://futureconsumerlab.ku.dk/ as a hub for sensory food science combined with consumer and flavour research.
