John Castura, Compusense, Canada


John Castura is a Research Fellow at Compusense Inc., a global leader in sensory evaluation software and best practices. His research focuses on sensory evaluation method development, validation, and statistical analysis. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of Food Quality and Preference. He chairs the Canadian mirror committee of ISO/TC 34/SC 12 Sensory Analysis, the Sensory Claim Substantiation workgroup of ASTM Committee E18 Sensory Evaluation, and the Sensory and Consumer member interest group at Campden BRI, a UK-based research association. He is a past chair of the Sensometric Society.
